Digital Photography in Summer

18 Jan

Similar to bright winter days, capturing bright surfaces under summer’s hot sun is also easy for the novice with a digital camera.   After dark the wider lens opening, longer shutter speed and automatic flash options of digital cameras make capturing outdoor activities possible. Another feature of digital cameras called a polarizing filter comes in handy for overcasting light, reducing the glare of the sun and increasing color saturation, imparting the correct color to a summer photograph. The automatic focus feature of digital photography also helps to eliminate washed out images.
