There are many possible winter images; mountain top vistas on a crystal clear winter day, ice cycles and snow sculptures, the covering of a fresh snowfall. The point and click nature of digital photography means your hand does not have to be out of your glove for long on very cold winter days. A digital camera’s adjustment features such as composition, proper exposure, or photograph patterns can contribute to the quality of winter photography. To effectively capture winter images, use your camera in the over-exposed mode to compensate for the brightness of the snow.
