The immediate review of images allows re-shooting while the subject or landscape is still available. One can instantly view the images, delete them if required, control the quantity and size of the images. Traditional cameras need to reload with new film. While a digital camera has storage that can be used multiple times once images are downloaded. The ease of use of digital cameras is one of the main reasons many individuals who are avid photographers choose to purchase a digital camera.  Traditional cameras have been relegated to specialty roles in the hands of professional photographers.
